About This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Juris Dynamics collects, uses, and protects information on our public website. Please note: This policy applies only to website visitors. Medical records are processed only on a private, access-controlled environment under a signed business associate agreement (BAA), and only for the firm that uploaded them. Product data terms are set in each customer agreement.
Who We Are
Juris Dynamics provides software that helps mass-tort law firms turn medical records into cited draft Plaintiff Fact Sheets.
What Information We Collect
We collect only the information you provide when submitting the “Request Access” form: your name, work email, law firm name, role, and, if you choose, an active MDL or tort. To protect the form from abuse, we keep a one-way hash of your network address for a short period. Our servers keep short technical logs (event codes and request ids) to operate and secure the site; these logs do not contain the details you enter in the form. This site does not use analytics, cookies, or ad trackers.
Why We Collect It
We use your information solely to evaluate your request for access and to communicate with you regarding our product.
Where It Is Stored
Your information is stored with our cloud hosting provider in the United States.
Who We Share It With
We share your data only with service providers who process it on our behalf: our cloud hosting provider, Slack (our internal team workspace, used to notify our team of a new request: your name, firm, role, work email and the request id, never the MDL or tort field; these messages are kept so our team can respond and follow up, and you can ask us to delete them at any time), and Google Workspace (email communication).
Retention
We keep your form submission, and our team's notification of it, so that we can respond and follow up; we do not delete them on a schedule. You can ask us to delete them at any time (see Your Rights). Requests sent through our test site expire 7 days after submission.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Security
We use administrative and technical measures to protect the information submitted through our site from unauthorized access or disclosure.
Children’s Privacy
Our website is intended for business professionals and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will reflect any changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
